The Punch and Judy Fellowship is pledged to ensuring that its members are not asked
wrongly for DBS checks (formerly CRB). A check may only be requested when the performer
is engaged in a ‘regulated activity’ as officially defined. This definition is centred
on frequent and intensive contact with the same children in the same place by someone
who is employed in a supervising capacity. DBS checks are not relevant to booking
a Punch and Judy performance. This includes visits to schools. Requesting a check
when not required is a breach of current legislation. More info

Membership Status
A ‘Full Member’ is a performer whose show has been carefully assessed and is considered by the committee of the Punch and Judy Fellowship to be providing a performance that offers ‘a basic level of proficiency’ or above.
Assessment criteria include the ability to speak with the authentic voice of Mr Punch (the swazzle), overall appearance and entertainment value.

Professor Philips' Punch & Judy, the show which has been seen at many seaside resorts and Gala Fetes and puppet festivals throughout the country.
Also a favourite at children’s parties and can cater for the full party with the addition of a magic show and balloon modelling with plenty of games if required. I have many years of performing the show.

My name is Tommy. I saw my first Punch and Judy show at the age of four and I've been hooked ever since. My Punch and Judy shows are traditional knock about slapstick comedy with a slight modern twist with characters such as Simon Cowell and Donald Trump.
I have performed at many different fetes, fun days, festivals, weddings, birthday parties and also at the seaside town of Felixtowe
I do punch and judy shows, children's magic, children's discos, mascot hire and balloon modelling.

My name is Mr Punch. I’ve known Jon for forty odd years 'Man & Boy.' He is a second generation Punch & Judy Man and has performed, with my good self, in many varied venues across Europe and the UK.
We bring our show to all ages, including a 'street show', which we have performed for Lords & Ladies at London’s Claridges to a 60th Birthday party and many other diverse venues in between.
